SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Pam April is a dedicated programme management professional with a passion for creating meaningful and lasting change in communities. With more than five years of leadership experience in social investment, community development, grant management and stakeholder engagement within the renewable energy sector. She is committed to ensuring that development initiatives translate into real opportunities for the people they serve.

Throughout her career, Pam has managed multi-million-rand community development portfolios across three community trusts, guiding programmes from planning and implementation through to monitoring, evaluation and reporting. She works closely with community stakeholders, partners and Boards of Trustees to build strong relationships, strengthen governance and deliver programmes that create measurable social impact.

Known for her collaborative approach and thoughtful leadership, Pam believes that sustainable development is built on trust, partnership and listening to the needs and aspirations of communities. She is driven by the opportunity to help people thrive and to contribute to initiatives that leave a positive legacy for future generations.

Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology, as well as an Honours degree in Anthropology, bringing both academic insight and practical experience to her work in community development.
