Ntombizanele has work experience from the Department of Social Development where she worked as a project management learner in the Britstown area.
With roles that included social relief programmes to help ease poor living conditions of needy people, she developed a love for helping people that influenced her decision for her field of study. After graduating from UWC she was fortunate enough to be employed as an intern for the Special Programmes Unit at the Department of Correctional Services in Kimberley where she rendered correctional programmes to offenders. She later worked as a Project Support Implementer for an NGO named Project Hope South Africa. She also worked as a Grant Administrator for the South African Social Security Agency under the EPWP Programme.
Just before she was appointed by Sibona Ilanga Trust, she worked as an intern at the Department of Education in the Inclusive Education Unit in De Aar. It is this vast work experience that has built her love for working with people and communities, understanding their struggles and thus striving to make a positive contribution in the lives of the marginalized people.
