Turning waste into livelihoods

Sammu Environmental Outreach (SEO) provides sustainable livelihood opportunities through community clean-up and recycling awareness campaigns. Local community members are encouraged to recycle materials that are discarded.

SEO believes that these recycling initiatives not only improve the socio-economic outlook in Kimberley, but the world at large. As its team focuses on education and raising awareness about recycling, community members are empowered to seek employment through viable and sustainable recycling businesses, contributing at once to a cleaner and safer environment as well as livelihoods.
